Lesser crested tern Observed on 17 July 2020 on the beach of Montijo 2 Bengali terns (Sterna bengalensis)

The Bengali Tern is a bird of the family Sternidae that inhabits Africa, Eurasia and Oceania. It breeds on the subtropical coasts from the Red Sea, across the Indian Ocean, the western Pacific to Australia, with a significant population on the shores of the Mediterranean.
